Elf and Archer!

They're both friends from girl scouts (and coincidentally, we all have pretty much the same hairdo) and they've already seen it once.

I'm super excited, because I LOOOOOVE the Hunger Games, and the movie looks goood.
I really like Jennifer Lawrence (I saw her in X-Men: First Class, because I like X-Men.) and although I was kind of skeptical when I first saw her, but I think she'll be good.

I'll have to tell you what I think tonight or tomorrow.

I Frickin' Miss Potato.

Potato and I hung out on Google+ (go join it's cool) for like three hours yesterday, until she had to eat dinner, and I realized it was it was 3 pm and i hadn't eaten breakfast. Time zones are confusing/

This made us realize, that this was the first time we had talked face to face (albeit from across the country) since her 13th birthday. 

My mom, Jayne, and me flew out to State That I Used To Live In, and hung out with our friends. And then we totally surprised her by sneaking into her bedroom and throwing balloons at her. She didn't even know we were coming. It was pretty epic.

You see, she's turning fifteen in like two weeks.

Potato, I miss yoooooooooooouuuu!

I hope we get to hang out more.

p.s we need to properly see each other soon, so i can poke you.

You know you're a nerd when...

... You ask your mom of you can stay up at least to the end of Ophelia's funeral.

The answer is no, unfortunately.

But seriously, I've been watching Hamlet all day because my mom got me the David Tennant version on blu-ray for New Years.

It's my favorite version because David Tennant and Patrick Stewart as Hamlet and the King/ghost are both phenomenal, (they're two of the best actors in the universe, and i can say that without shame because they've both been all over it) and it's really well done.

It's available on Netflix, but only on disc. You need to watch it.

Being the weirdo that i am, i'm listening to a million versions of Nyan cat while doing driver's ed. BUT- I thought i'd share some epic nyan iterations with you!

Eggs :)

My mom helped me flip this, mainly because it's the first fried egg I've ever made. I think it's a tiny bit overlooked, but I'd rather have it over sunny Side up than under done and raw.

Also, I do realize that it's 3:00 pm. I just got a craving for eggs on toast.

Yes this is two posts in one day. I just feel really guilty about my unreliability. Consider it a peace offering and a promise.

I drew a picture last night. It's pretty good.

And (coincidentally) I have short dark brown hair and glasses...
And (coincidentally) Nice Funny Boy is blond and taller than me...
We also may or may not live in a place where the grass is a gorgeous golden for the whole summer.

But it's all coincidental.

Showtime, Sunshine

First, I have to share my new favorite song. enjoy, and then go buy this whole album, because it's all really good, and he's awesome:

Sigh. Ok, read on. I'm just gonna cry for a minute.

Jayne and I are really happy because we just got the new Sims 3 Showtime expansion pack, and I will say that it's a ton of fun. We can have singers, acrobats, magicians, DJs, and just lot's of funness. In fact, this morning we made the Jones family: Jackson is a magician, Tim is an acrobat, and their daughter Danielle is going to be a singer when she's older.
Like I said, funness.

One of the problems with playing so much, is that you miss out on life. And March in my backyard happens to be one of my favorite parts of life. So I thought I would show you some lovely spring pictures taken on my trusty digital camera :) (The very one that my dear friend Edison hates ever so much).

Plus, I really wanted to try out the macro setting on the camera to see if I could get it to work properly, and springtime is great for that, because there's so many tiny little things.

We have a ton of fruit trees in our yard, and this plum tree is the first on to blossom, pretty much every year :)

Every time I post all of my excuses about not posting, I'll prepare you with this hat. I know, it's kind of an ugly hat hat, but it's made specifically to shield you from the storm of lies and rationalization.
