Join me in this groovy quest.

Ah yeah. I'm bringing back groovy. It hasn't been groovy to say groovy for fifty years, so I think it's time. It's a fantabulous word, and it's totally fun to say. Here, watch this video of Liam Dryden talking about bringing back groovy, and try not to swoon every time he says it.
Groovy.

Plus, when you look at fashion, groovy is back. people just aren't saying groovy, but groovy is most definitely back.

Seriously, do I need to keep saying it?

Groovily yours, Lady Elisabeth. Ooh. Trebuchet.

Capitol Hair and Makeup With Accallia Highwind

So, for the longest time, Jayne and I have been giving our Barbie dolls makeovers, and well... they're really weird. So I was thinking, that most of our dolls (except for the "sacred" ones, like Jayne's super expensive Aphrodite doll, and my Twilight doll. Shut up, she's really pretty.) would fit in great in the Capitol.

So here is my photo shoot, complete with commentary from... err... uh... Accallia Highwind?Yeah, that sounds Capitol-y. And this entire post will be in bubblegum pink with highlighter yellow helvetica.

This stunning look is absolutely perfect for attending the opening ceremony of the Games, or just partying with your cadre of friends. The deep purple eyeshadow and lips, really set off the gorgeous gradation in her hair.

A bit less formal look, perhaps more practical for when you're out shopping for new wigs?

Blues and greens are very in right now! Somebody's got money on District Four this year!

More blue, but a very different look. The pink lips are a nice contrasting element.

Look at that hair! This whole look is very minimalistic. The dots are very simple, but they still say, "I know what my style is."
I think I'm in love with the reversed eyeshadow going on here.

Luxurious purple hair goes with the obviously simplistic makeup here. The false scar is a nice touch for the upcoming games.

Women aren't the only ones who can enjoy tattoos!

Bright brassy pink is very chic.

This look is very much inspired by the games, but the gold lipstick reminds you that sheis a Capitol girl after all!
The subtle pink stripe is one of my favorite pieces of this outfit. I absolutely adore the little swirls by her eyes. So fun!

The gold eyeliner is very nice here- somebody's attention was caught by the outstanding Cinna, one of last year's victorious District Twelve's stylists.

So, I hope you enjoyed this... unusual post, and may the odds be ever in you favor.

Pictures of Sisters

First of all, I dyed my hair again! Now my bangs have blue stripes. It's pretty awesome.

Secondly, gel pens are epic. First I drew this picture of me and Jayne with a greenish gel pen, and it was so good, I showed it to her. Then I drew another on of us as the Doctor and Sarah Jane (David Tennant, and older Sarah Jane. Mainly because she had awful fashion sense in the eighties.) This is also fantastic.
And Jayne asked for a pen and paper, so she's drawing us as well, and I drew us all steampunk. Jayne hates steampunk, therefore, she drew as just punk. Expect these pictures to be epic.

Me and Jayne by Moi.

Me and Jayne by Jayne.

Me as the Doctor and Jayne as Sarah Jane. Sarah Jayne?

Me as a steampunk Lady, and Jayne as a total badass.

Me and Jayne looking super awesome in punk clothes. Note the piercing and chokers.

Showtime, Sunshine

First, I have to share my new favorite song. enjoy, and then go buy this whole album, because it's all really good, and he's awesome:
Sigh. Ok, read on. I'm just gonna cry for a minute.

Jayne and I are really happy because we just got the new Sims 3 Showtime expansion pack, and I will say that it's a ton of fun. We can have singers, acrobats, magicians, DJs, and just lot's of funness. In fact, this morning we made the Jones family: Jackson is a magician, Tim is an acrobat, and their daughter Danielle is going to be a singer when she's older.
Like I said, funness.

One of the problems with playing so much, is that you miss out on life. And March in my backyard happens to be one of my favorite parts of life. So I thought I would show you some lovely spring pictures taken on my trusty digital camera :) (The very one that my dear friend Edison hates ever so much).

Plus, I really wanted to try out the macro setting on the camera to see if I could get it to work properly, and springtime is great for that, because there's so many tiny little things.

SUPER close up on a dandelion leaf

rose leaves.

We have a ton of fruit trees in our yard, and this plum tree is the first on to blossom, pretty much every year :)

I love the blurred blossoms behind this one.

If you're wondering how tiny this is...

That's my thumb next to it.

I really love this one, you can see every little "hair" on the leaves

"Mommy, when I grow up, I'm gonna be a plum tree, just like you!"

Whenever I take pictures like these, I feel like a nature photographer, and I'm especially proud of this
batch!

Imagine This Boy:

Blond, six feet tall, skinny as a string bean, charming smile, braces.

Ok, now imagine this girl:
Dark brownish hair with washed out bits of blue in it, five seven, 160 pounds, glasses.

Imagine if that girl got his phone number. Imagine she asked him to a dance.

Imagine that due to politics, that dance got cancelled.
Imagine she texted him.

Hey maybe instead do you want to come over to my house for pizza and the crappy eighties movie of your choice?

Imagine he said yes.
Imagine he's coming over next week.

5-15 : TRIPLE AWESOME!

Firstly, it's only five days till my birthday. SQUEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!!!

Secondly, I no longer feel like this:

now I just feel like this:

But the most awesome of all is (drumroll pleaase....) MY AUNT LITERALLY WALKED IN THE DOOR LIKE A MINUTE AGO!!

Yay! I'm super excited to see her (and she's staying through aforementioned birthday)

She lives on the other side of the country, so we don't see her very often.

If you don't mind, I really need to go hug my aunt some more.
