Things That I do When I'm Supposed to be Doing Other Things

Oh hello.
For the next two weeks, I will post EVERYDAY.
This is gona be great for you guys. You get to watch me go crazy. Today I thought I would talk about procrastinating. I'm an expert after all...

Usually when I'm supposed to be doing something I will decide to do something else.
After some deliberation I will probably decide that the second thing is too much work, and do something even less important.
After I do that I end up doing more unnecessary things.
Especially if left to my own devices all day.

So currently, my thoughts today have gone something like this:

9:30 am: I should take a shower. OOH! YOUTUBE!

10 am: Fine I'll take a shower. *Grumble grumble.*

10:30 am: YOUTUBE IS BETTER THAN GETTING DRESSED!

11 am: Rush to get dressed so I can sign for a package

11:10: Coffee.

11:20 am: Get on the computer to do Driver's Ed

11:22 am: Hey look, Edison emailed me.

11:30 am: Stop signs... Stop signs... Yield signs...

11:45 am: I need a muffin.

12 pm: Edison emailed me back... REPLY!

12:15 pm: I have been staring at the same page for half an hour...

12:16 pm: Florence + The Machine Sing-along time!

12:18 pm: I'm going to write a blog post...

12:20 pm: Mom calls.

This is slightly  very pathetic.

At least you know where you rank on the ladder of procrastination.

This post involves cats and math.

Ok, I haven't written in (checking calendar) nine days. I'm a bit of a flake. BUT- I am working on it. head on over to The Starlit Castle if you want to see me write on a (gasp) regularish basis.

Speaking of Starlit Castle, I was thinking about making a compilation in book form, like with illustrations and stuff. Unfortunately, it would cost money, but only the money it would take me to you know, make them through a website.

I don't know, it's just a thought.

On a completely unrelated note, today I got back my test scores....
At first I was like this

"NO! Don't tell me!"

 Then my mom started reading and I was all like

"Post high school level English, Science, and Social Studies? Again?"

And then it was math time.

"seventh grade level is better than last year, right?*"

Then it was decided that I need a tutor.

"WHAAAAAAAAAAAAH???!!!!!!!!"

I couldn't have said it better internet cat.

*Unfortunately, this is true. I believe the level it gave me for last year's math computation was "below fourth grade level." Gee, I feel so good about myself.

This is Harder Than I Thought... (Blogging and The Plague)

I apologize for my absence.

FIRST: My whole family got ridiculously ill with what I like to refer to as The Black Plague of 2012. We were all coughing (actually, we're still coughing), moaning, and running really high fevers. Everyone except my dad.
Luckily, that's all over, and we're pretty much ok now.

SECOND: I also haven't been posting because of the internal chaos over at Starlit Castle. If you don't know what that is, (firstly SHAME!) go check it out, because it's a bunch of teenaged girls who (in theory) write stories, poems, songs, and whatnot. Also Potato is part of it, and she's my awesome funny best friend.

This internal chaos is relatively simple: I am herding cats.

I like all of these people, and I am in charge of making sure they stick to schedules, don't make too many tags (note: guys, stop making so many tags), making announcements, and I still have to keep up with my own posts.
So being a nice person, I really don't want to yell at my friends to do what they're supposed to. But it just makes me infuriated when they don't.

On a lighter and less frustrated note, I think I designed a banner for this here blog on a Starbucks napkin, and will get that all set up as soon as i can find it.
